How easy is it to switch to Beldenn?

Very. Once you give us the go-ahead, we contact your current accountant, request the information we need and handle the professional handover for you. In most cases there's very little for you to do.

How much will it cost?

We work to fixed, agreed fees so you always know what you're paying. After an initial chat about what you need, we'll send a clear proposal — usually a simple monthly amount with no hidden extras.

Do I have to be based in Leeds or Halifax?

Not at all. We're proud of our Yorkshire roots and have offices in Leeds and Halifax, but we work in the cloud and support clients wherever they are. Meet us in person or entirely online — your choice.

What size of business do you work with?

From brand-new startups and sole traders to established companies with substantial turnover. Whatever your size, you'll get the same personal, proactive service.

Will Making Tax Digital affect me?

If you're VAT registered it already does. MTD for Income Tax is also being phased in for sole traders and landlords from April 2026. We'll tell you exactly where you stand and get you ready in good time.

Which accounting software do you support?

We support all the major cloud platforms including QuickBooks, Xero, Sage, QuickFile and FreeAgent, and can often supply licences at a discount. We'll recommend the best fit for the way you work.
